[City], August 28, 2024. The big screen at the front of the room showed a simple title: Handover Ceremony, MAKA 0-series Road Test Report. On the table stood a plaque marking the moment. Around it, four men smiled for the camera. Behind those smiles, however, lay months of work and more than 15,000 kilometers of riding. This was the finish line of an electric motorcycle road test.
The motorcycle in question was MAKA’s first model, later launched as the MAKA Cavalry. Before any rider could buy one, the bike had to prove itself on real Indonesian roads. So, MAKA turned to Global Service Agency to make that happen.
Who Took Part in the Electric Motorcycle Road Test?
First, there was MAKA Motors, an Indonesian electric vehicle company founded in 2022. The Cavalry is its first locally designed electric motorcycle. Second, there was Global Service Agency (GSA), which ran the entire road test program. Third, there was ATIC, [ATIC’s role in the project].
What Did the Road Test Involve?
Our team delivered a complete road test package. First, we provided the tracks. Next, we supplied the riders. Finally, we collected and delivered the data. In other words, MAKA received everything it needed in one place.
The test covered every kind of road a rider might face in Indonesia. For example, the bikes rode on smooth asphalt and rough, broken surfaces. They also crossed quiet residential streets and heavy industrial roads. In total, the test fleet covered more than 15,000 kilometers.
Along the way, our team recorded performance data from every ride. As a result, MAKA gained a clear picture of how its motorcycle behaves in real conditions.
When and Where Did the Handover Happen?
The handover ceremony took place on August 28, 2024, in [City]. At the event, GSA formally delivered the road test report for MAKA’s 0-series motorcycles. Notably, this happened several months before the Cavalry’s official launch in January 2025.
Why Does an Electric Motorcycle Road Test Matter?
Indonesian roads can be tough on any vehicle. Potholes, speed bumps, heavy traffic and heat all test a motorcycle’s limits. Therefore, lab tests alone can’t tell the whole story.
An electric motorcycle road test fills that gap. It shows how the battery, motor, suspension and frame perform in daily use. Moreover, it reveals problems early, before the bike reaches customers. For a brand-new electric motorcycle, that insight is priceless.
For MAKA, the data helped prepare the Cavalry for real riders. Meanwhile, Indonesian consumers gained something too: a motorcycle tested on the same roads they ride every day.
How Did the Road Test Go?
In a word: successfully. Our riders completed more than 15,000 kilometers across every planned road type. Then, our team compiled the results into a full report. Finally, we handed it over to MAKA at the ceremony.

Months later, MAKA launched the Cavalry to the Indonesian public. In 2025, the bike even won Best of High Electric Skutik at the Otomotif Award. Of course, that success belongs to MAKA’s team.
